Platinum Heritage

Platinum Heritage runs desert safaris from an office in Motor City and is the most distinctive operator in that category on TripReview. It works inside the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, the emirate's largest national park, and describes itself as Dubai's only ecotourism desert safari company.

Its trips are built around period settings rather than dune-bashing. The Heritage Collection recreates the 1950s, when Land Rovers first reached the desert, and travels in vintage vehicles; the Platinum Collection is the luxury end of the range. Most safaris include a falconry demonstration and cultural performances, with Emirati food cooked on site by the company's own chefs.

The company says it is the only desert safari operator working on a Royal Family member's private land, that it has won the World Travel Award for the Middle East's leading desert safari company six years running, and that TripAdvisor has placed it in the top 10% of businesses worldwide every year since 2012. It publishes animal welfare guidelines covering its camel trekking and falconry.
