Get car rental quotes
from Dubai rental companies
One form. Several prices. Nothing to pay us.
Tell us where you are collecting, when, and what you want to drive. We pass it to the car rental companies listed on TripReview — the ones whose licence we have checked are asked first — and they come back to you direct.

How a quote request works
Three steps, and the booking itself is always directly between you and the rental company.
1. Tell us the trip
Where you are collecting, the dates, and the kind of car you want. Under a minute.
2. We pass it on
Your request goes to car rental companies covering that emirate — not to a call centre. Ones whose licence we have checked are asked first.
3. You compare and choose
Offers come back to you by email or WhatsApp. You book with whichever company you like, direct.
What you will and will not be charged
The complaints we publish about car rental are almost always about one of these six lines.
- No booking fee from usTripReview takes nothing from you. We are not in the transaction.
- You pay the company, not usSame price as going to them direct — we do not add a margin.
- The deposit is theirs, and refundableAsk what is blocked and when it is released; it is in the quote.
- VAT should be in the number5% VAT is normally included. If a quote excludes it, that has to be stated.
- Salik and fines are extraRoad tolls and any traffic fines are billed after the rental. Always.
- Read the fuel and mileage policyLike-for-like fuel and a daily kilometre cap are the two that catch people out.
How long are you hiring for?
Ask for the right rate band. A month booked as thirty separate days costs far more than a monthly rate.
Not sure what to ask for?
The four bands most requests fall into. You can change your mind after the offers arrive.

Collecting outside Dubai?
Requests go to companies covering the emirate you pick. Cross-emirate returns are usually possible but often carry a one-way fee, so ask for it in the quote.
Why ask through TripReview
We are a review site, not a broker. We do not take a cut of your rental, which is why nothing here pushes you towards a particular company.
Licence status is never hidden
A verified badge means a person read that company’s trade licence. Companies without one are listed too, and plainly marked.
Companies cannot delete reviews
A company can reply to a review and ask a moderator to look again. It can never remove one, and it cannot pay to.
Rankings are not for sale
Advertising is labelled where it appears and has no effect on who is listed or in what order.
Operators with open reports are named
If a company is on our scam watchlist, you will see it on their profile before you book.
Car Rental Quotes in Dubai: FAQ
What travellers ask us most often before requesting a quote in the UAE.
Is it really free to get a car rental quote on TripReview.ae?
Yes — requesting a quote is completely free and comes with no obligation. You only pay the rental company directly if you decide to book, at the same price as booking direct.
Will I be charged any booking fees?
No. TripReview does not charge travellers any booking fees, service fees or credit card surcharges. The price in your quote is the price you pay to the rental company.
Can I cancel or modify my booking?
That is between you and the rental company, because the booking is theirs and not ours. Many UAE companies offer free cancellation on standard bookings, but the terms vary by company and by car — confirm the cancellation policy in writing in your offer before you pay anything.
What documents do I need to rent a car in the UAE?
UAE residents need an Emirates ID and a valid UAE driving licence. Tourists need a passport with an entry stamp, a valid home-country driving licence and, depending on the country, an International Driving Permit. A credit card in the main driver's name is usually required for the security deposit.
Can tourists rent a car in the UAE?
Yes. Visitors from many countries can drive in the UAE on their home licence, and others need an International Driving Permit alongside it. The requirement depends on your nationality, so ask the rental company to confirm it for your licence before you travel.
Are insurance and taxes included in the quote?
Quotes normally include basic collision damage waiver and 5% VAT, but 'insurance included' is not the same as no excess — there is usually an amount you are still liable for. Ask for the excess figure in dirhams, and what it would cost to reduce it.
Can I rent a car at any UAE airport?
Companies listed here operate at the major UAE airports, including Dubai International (DXB), Al Maktoum (DWC), Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Sharjah (SHJ). Airport collection sometimes carries a surcharge, so check whether your quote is for an airport or a city desk.
How do I know the rental companies are verified?
Look for the verified badge on its profile: a company gets it only after a person has read its trade licence. Companies without one are listed too, and plainly marked. Reviews are checked before they publish, and companies with open reports against them appear on our scam watchlist.
Ready to get prices for your dates?
It takes about a minute, costs nothing, and you are not committed to any of the offers that come back.
