Listing & Image Guidelines
what a good listing looks like

Clear words, honest photos, the real car. That is all we ask.

How to describe your services and present your photos on your TripReview profile and listings, so a traveller knows exactly what they are getting before they contact you. The same standard applies to every company on the platform.

Describe it clearly
Services and images
Sharp, honest photos
The real car, well shot
Right shape and size
So nothing is cropped
One standard for all
Applied fairly
A tidy desk with a camera, a printed photo and a laptop, Dubai towers softly out of focus beyond the window

A clear, honest listing with good photos gets more enquiries — and keeps them, because the traveller gets what they saw.

1

Why It Matters

Travellers choose with their eyes and a few seconds of reading. A listing that says exactly what it offers, with sharp photos of the real vehicle or service, earns trust and enquiries. A vague or misleading one gets skipped — or reported. These guidelines are how every company keeps its profile and listings clear, honest and good-looking.

2

Describe Your Services Clearly

Tell a traveller exactly what they are getting, in plain words.

  • Name exactly what it is — the make, model and year for a car; the boat, route or tour for an experience.
  • Say what is included and what is not — fuel, insurance, a driver, meals, hotel pickup, extras.
  • State the price and what it covers — per hour, day or week; the deposit, the mileage cap, whether VAT is included.
  • Give the terms that matter — minimum rental, delivery area, cancellation.
  • Be specific. 'Best prices in Dubai' tells a traveller nothing; 'AED 250 a day, 250 km included, no deposit' does.
  • Write in the language your customer reads — English, and Russian where you can.
3

Describe Your Images Clearly

A photo is a promise. Make sure yours shows what you actually offer.

  • Add a short caption saying what each photo shows.
  • The photo must be the actual vehicle or service you offer — the same model, colour and year.
  • Show the real thing from a few angles: front, side, interior, and any feature you mention.
  • If a photo is a stock or illustrative image, say so plainly — never pass it off as your own.
4

Image Quality Standards

Good photos do more selling than any words. Every image should be:

  • Sharp and in focus — no blur or camera shake.
  • Well lit, with true colours — no heavy filters that change how the car really looks.
  • Clean — wash the car and clear the clutter behind it.
  • High resolution — at least 1200 pixels on the long edge, and larger is better.
  • Free of pixelation, heavy compression, or screenshots taken from other sites.
5

Image Shape & Format

Photos are shown in wide cards, so shape and size matter as much as quality.

Landscape · 4:3 or 16:9
At least 1200px wide
JPG, PNG or WebP · under 5 MB
  • Use landscape (horizontal) photos for covers and cards — portrait photos get cropped.
  • Keep the subject centred with a little space around it, so nothing important is cut off.
  • Upload a separate, square logo for your profile — not your logo stamped across a photo.
6

What Is Not Allowed

  • A photo of a different car, trim or colour than the one on offer
  • A watermark, phone number or price stamped across the image
  • Another company's logo, branding or photos
  • Blurry, dark, tiny or screenshotted images
  • A stock photo presented as your own vehicle
  • A price, inclusion or feature you do not actually offer
7

Before You Publish

A quick check before you hit publish:

  • The title names the exact vehicle or service.
  • What is included, what is excluded, the price basis and the key terms are all there.
  • Every photo is the real thing, sharp and well lit.
  • At least one clear landscape cover photo.
  • No watermarks, burned-in numbers, or another company's branding.
  • You would be happy to receive exactly what the listing promises.
8

How We Enforce This

We want your listings to do well, so our first step is always to help, not to hide. If a listing does not meet these guidelines, our team sends you a correction note — in your dashboard, by email and on WhatsApp — saying exactly what to change.

1Correction note
2You make the fix
3Back live
  • Most things are a quick fix, and the note is simply a heads-up.
  • A listing that is misleading, or cannot safely be shown, may be deactivated until it is corrected — the reason is always included, and it goes back live as soon as the fix is made.
  • The same standard applies to every company; this is never about ranking one above another.
