Quick answer

Renting a luxury car in Dubai starts at roughly AED 900–2,000 a day for a top saloon or SUV, and a supercar runs from about AED 2,500 to AED 6,000 a day, before VAT and extras. The real difference from a normal rental is the deposit — often AED 5,000–20,000 held on a credit card, sometimes as a security cheque — a much higher insurance excess, a daily mileage cap, and a minimum age of 25 (30 for the rarest cars).

How much does it cost to rent a luxury car or supercar in Dubai?

Luxury rental in Dubai covers three loose tiers, and the gap between them is wide. A prestige saloon or SUV — think the cars chauffeurs drive — is the entry point. A sports car is a step up. A supercar, with a mid-mounted engine and a famous badge, is where the daily rate jumps. The figures below are typical 2026 benchmarks, not quotes: the live price depends on the exact model, the season, how long you book and what the company includes.

Rates fall in the summer, when demand drops, and climb around New Year and the big events. Booking for a week rather than a day almost always cuts the daily rate, and many companies drop it again on a month. For the price of one specific model, open its page — each carries its own benchmark table.

Benchmarks, not quotes, and before 5% VAT and any delivery, young-driver or out-of-hours fee. Confirm the all-in price with the company before you pay.

The headline daily rate is the smallest part of the decision on a supercar. Ask for the deposit, the mileage cap and the insurance excess in the same message — those three decide what the rental really costs if anything goes wrong.

Which luxury and supercar brands can you rent in Dubai?

Almost every marque is on the road here, and Dubai has one of the deepest exotic fleets anywhere. These are the names renters ask for most, with the typical daily range for the models that rent the most often. Each links to its own page, where the live listings and company prices sit under the benchmark table.

  • Lamborghini — the Huracán and the Urus SUV are the city's most-rented supercars, roughly AED 2,500–4,000 a day.
  • Ferrari — the F8, Roma and Portofino, usually AED 3,000–5,000 a day.
  • McLaren — the 720S and GT, around AED 2,800–4,500 a day.
  • Rolls-Royce — the Ghost, Cullinan and Dawn, from about AED 4,000 a day and the priciest to insure.
  • Bentley — the Continental GT and Bentayga, roughly AED 2,500–4,500 a day.
  • Aston Martin — the Vantage and DB11, around AED 2,500–4,000 a day.
  • Porsche and Mercedes — the 911, the AMG range and the G-Class bridge the gap between a sports car and a supercar, often AED 1,500–3,500 a day.
  • Range Rover — the Vogue and Sport are the default luxury SUV, about AED 1,200–2,500 a day.

If a badge matters less than the feeling, a convertible gives you most of the drama for a fraction of a supercar's deposit and excess — as does a sports car.

What deposit and insurance does a supercar rental need?

This is where a supercar rental differs most from an economy one. The security deposit is held on a credit card in the main driver's name and released after the car comes back and any fines have arrived — the same mechanism as any rental, but the numbers are far larger.

Comprehensive insurance is included, but read the excess — the amount you pay before cover starts if the car is damaged. On a supercar it is high, and a single kerbed wheel or stone-chipped splitter can cost more than the rental. Some companies offer a waiver that lowers the excess for an extra daily fee; on an exotic it is usually worth it.

A few companies, especially on the rarest cars, ask for a security cheque instead of or on top of the card hold. Understand what you are signing before you do — a cheque that bounces is a serious matter in the UAE.

Indicative ranges that vary widely by company and car. Always confirm the exact figures, and how the deposit is taken, in writing before you book.

What licence and age do you need to rent a supercar in Dubai?

The documents are the same as any rental — a passport and visa for a visitor, a home licence with an International Driving Permit where the UAE does not accept the licence on its own, and a credit card for the deposit. Residents use an Emirates ID and a UAE licence.

The age rule is stricter. Where an economy car rents from 21, most companies set the floor at 25 for luxury and supercars, and 30 for the rarest, and often want the licence held for at least a year or two. Drivers under 25 will struggle to rent an exotic at all, whatever surcharge they offer.

Send photos of the passport, visa and licence when you enquire. A company holding a limited exotic fleet wants to vet the driver before the car leaves the showroom, and pre-checking avoids a wasted trip.

What should you know before driving a supercar in Dubai?

Dubai's roads are smooth, wide and heavily watched. Speed cameras are everywhere, and any speeding fines, along with Salik toll charges, are passed to you after the rental, usually with the company's own admin fee on top. On an exotic the fines mount quickly, because the temptation is obvious and the cameras are not.

Watch the mileage cap. Luxury rentals include around 250 km a day, and supercars often less — 150 to 250 km — with a charge of AED 5–15 or more for every extra kilometre. A day trip to Abu Dhabi and back can blow through the allowance, so ask before you plan one.

Most supercars take Super 98 petrol, not the Special 95 a normal rental uses — the grade is on the fuel cap. And think about where you will actually drive it: Sheikh Zayed Road and the Palm are made for it, but rush-hour traffic, speed bumps in the older districts and tight mall car parks are not kind to a low front splitter.

Photograph the whole car — wheels, splitter, sills and roof — and the fuel gauge at pick-up and return. On an exotic, the excess is high enough that a pre-existing scuff you cannot prove can become your bill.

Should you self-drive or hire a chauffeur?

Not every luxury car needs you behind the wheel. A Rolls-Royce or a Mercedes S-Class is as much about being driven as driving, and a chauffeur removes the deposit, the excess, the mileage worry and the Dubai traffic in one step. For an airport arrival or an evening out, a luxury transfer or a car with a driver is often the calmer choice.

Self-drive makes sense when the drive is the point — a weekend with the Hajar Mountains or the Jebel Jais road ahead, or simply the pleasure of the car itself. For a saloon you will barely feel behind glass, the chauffeur option usually wins.

How do you avoid overpaying on a luxury rental?

  • Compare the same model across companies — the spread on an identical car is wide, and the cheapest headline rate is not always the cheapest once the deposit and excess are in.
  • Book longer. A weekly rate beats seven daily ones, and a monthly rate beats four weekly ones, on almost every car.
  • Go off-peak. Summer and mid-week are cheaper than New Year, event weekends and the cooler months.
  • Confirm what is included — delivery, the first tank, airport handover and the mileage cap all move the real price.
  • Get the all-in figure in writing before you pay, including VAT, the deposit and any fee for a second driver or out-of-hours collection.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to rent a Lamborghini in Dubai?

A Lamborghini Huracán or Urus typically rents for about AED 2,500–4,000 a day in 2026, before VAT and extras. The exact price depends on the model, the season and how long you book, and a supercar carries a large deposit and a high insurance excess on top.

What is the minimum age to rent a supercar in Dubai?

Most companies set the minimum at 25 for luxury and supercars, and 30 for the rarest, and often want the licence held for a year or more. Economy cars rent from 21.

How big is the deposit on a supercar rental in Dubai?

Expect roughly AED 5,000–20,000 held on a credit card in the main driver's name, released after the car returns and any fines arrive. Some companies ask for a security cheque instead or as well — confirm the exact figure in writing first.

Can tourists rent a luxury car or supercar in Dubai?

Yes. A tourist rents on a passport and valid visa, a home driving licence with an International Driving Permit where required, and a credit card for the deposit, as long as they meet the company's age rule.

Is there a mileage limit on luxury car rentals?

Usually. Luxury rentals include around 250 km a day and supercars often 150–250 km, with a charge of AED 5–15 or more per extra kilometre. Ask before planning a long drive such as Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back.

Do I need special insurance for a supercar?

Comprehensive cover is included, but the excess you pay if the car is damaged is high. Many companies offer a waiver that lowers it for an extra daily fee, which is usually worth taking on an exotic.

Can I rent a Rolls-Royce with a driver in Dubai?

Yes. Many companies offer luxury cars with a chauffeur, which removes the deposit, the excess and the mileage worry. It is a common choice for airport arrivals, weddings and events.
